About The Author

Desmond King
B.Q.A

Hi, My name is Desmond King and this is my blog "An Untold Story Told". The blog's title is inspired by a quote written by the late Maya Angelou. "There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you." -- Maya Angelou
Although there were many other factors that brought me to this point, it was this quote that solidified my conviction to myself and my art.
Through my writing and art, I hope to tell the stories I was always too afraid to tell when I was younger. Too gay, too black, too sensitive...
To stand in these truths, my artist's name was created, B.Q.A. (Black Queer Artist). The name is a promise to myself, to always be genuinely me and never apologize for who I am.
